Nursing
The Nursing major course produces competent nursing professionals (nurses, public health nurses, and midwives) who are fully capable of responding to the needs of Japan’s changing social environment, its rapidly aging society, the effects of globalization, and the increasing sophistication of medical technology. Similarly, the division of Health Science, Basic Nursing, Clinical Nursing, Maternity Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Community Nursing, Geriatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing offer thorough education and training in their respective specializations.

Physical Therapy
The Physical Therapy major course seeks to turn out competent physical therapists with advanced scientific therapeutic techniques that will enable them to pioneer rehabilitation that values cooperation and coexistence with disabled persons of all ages. We emphasize laboratory participation and taking part in clinical internships in small groups. We train the students to use a wide range of research equipment such as ultrasound diagnostic tools and exhalation gas analyzers.
Occupational Therapy
The Occupational Therapy major course introduces students to a variety of therapeutic methods that help restore the physical abilities of people who have difficulty using their bodies properly, regardless of the reason. We stress active learning, which promotes self-initiated learning on the part of the students, and present opportunities for students to work with people of all ages in the community.
